We Live Our Mission Every Day

Havenwood Heritage Heights is a not-for-profit, faith-based Life Plan Community (also known as a Continuing Care Retirement Community or CCRC) in Concord, New Hampshire, affiliated with the New Hampshire Conference of the United Church of Christ. We provide a continuum of healthcare services and long-term care, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation. We are the largest of only three accredited Life Plan Communities in New Hampshire.

Residents of varying backgrounds and faiths live together at our Concord retirement community in an atmosphere of independence and dignity. We share a common bond of companionship and a sense of community. We are a retirement community enriched by the diversity of its members, living together in a spirit of mutual respect and acceptance. We offer services, facilities and programs that are meaningful, promote well-being, and meet the environmental, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of seniors aged 62 and above.

Dear Friend,

As President and CEO of Havenwood Heritage Heights for the past 28 years, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our vibrant and caring community. From the moment you arrive on campus, you’ll experience the genuine spirit of friendship and connection that defines life at HHH.

We warmly invite you to tour our campuses and attend one of our many events to see firsthand the hospitality and camaraderie that make our community so special.

Our legacy is woven into our daily life. Founded in the mid-1960s by Reverend Dr. Everett Barrows, Havenwood Heritage Heights was a visionary community from the start. Today, we continue that mission-driven tradition by offering innovative services and welcoming second and third-generation residents into our fold.

Across both campuses, we offer over myriad of maintenance-free floor plans, including charming one-level cottages surrounded by beautiful gardens. With monthly fees ranging from $1,825 and $5,595 entrance fees between $59,100 and $258,800, we provide a variety of options to suit your lifestyle and budget.

Our History

The vision for our retirement home in Concord, NH began with our founding father, the Reverend Dr. Everett R. Barrows. He and his colleagues envisioned a faith-based, inclusive senior living community where seniors would live in independent cottages with access to supportive assisted living services. We first opened our doors in 1967 with our original Havenwood Campus, New Hampshire’s first independent living retirement community. In 1980, we expanded our Life Plan Community with our second campus, Heritage Heights.

CARF Accredited Care

Havenwood Heritage Heights is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), the only accreditor for Life Plan Communities (CCRCs) in the U.S. To receive accreditation, an NH Life Plan Community must meet or exceed CARF’s rigorous standards, a bar that very few retirement communities meet. (Only two other CCRCs in New Hampshire are accredited.) Thanks to the amazing commitment on behalf of our staff, our CARF accreditation is a symbol of pride and a sign to residents that we are dedicated to providing the very best care.

Team members share their talents in a myriad of ways. Our chefs dish up delicious and balanced meals that can be shared with friends. Our administrators plan innovative programs and events. Our physical therapists design individualized rehabilitation plans to help community members heal. Our nurses assist with daily tasks like bathing and dressing. Whatever support you need, our exceptional staff is prepared to provide it.
