Ed and Ruby Bartlett
There are endless opportunities to be active.
“It’s so great not to have to be constantly working to take care of things that are always needing attention when you own a home,” says Ed.“Now we can spend time doing what we want to do, not what we have to do.”
With their newfound freedom from chores, the Bartletts take advantage of the friendly atmosphere and wide variety of activities at Havenwood Heritage Heights, such as going to movies, documentaries, concerts, plays, discussion groups and day trips.“There are so many things to do, it’s just unbelievable,” says Ed.“There is something for everyone but with no pressure to be involved.”
Help is always at hand.
Since Havenwood Heritage Heights is a Continuing Care Retirement Community,“We have peace of mind knowing there is help for our needs, whether it be maintenance or health issues,” says Ruby.“The staff always has the residents’ concerns in mind.”
The Bartletts both agree that downsizing was well worth the effort.“The first and most important thing to remember is don’t wait too long to make the move. Now that we have been here for a year, we can appreciate that advice even more,” says Ruby.“Moving to Havenwood Heritage Heights was the right decision for us for sure.”
