5. Check Out an Authentic General Store (or 2!)

General stores have been popular in the state of New Hampshire for more than 200 years. But as the country and its people have changed over time, so has the general store. Some of the general stores that are still active in New Hampshire include:

6. Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth at the Candy Shoppe

The Granite State Candy Shoppe has been owned and operated by the same family since it was first established back in 1927. For several generations, the Bart family has been happily producing candy for the residents of Concord and beyond. 7. Pick Apples at Carter Hill Orchard

It is no secret that New Hampshire is one of the most beautiful states in New England and with a gracious harvest season each year, Carter Hill is a great place to spend a day apple picking.
